best electronic keyboard for beginners
What Good electronic keyboard to recommend to a beginner who wants to pick up keyboarding?
my family and i wants to get a electronic keyboard for christmas for the family so we can play it. we probably use it most as a piano and i do not get the “keyboard language” e.g hammer and etc… i have a mac with garageband so i was hoping it could hook it up too. so i really do not know which keyboard is best and my family has no experience for keyboards. please help!!
thanks!

If you’re sure that you won’t become very serious in piano playing, i’m going to reccomend the casio Privia. In all honesty, i absolutely HATE casio…but this keyboard has an actually decent tone, it’s cheap and relatively light although it’s weighted. Buy an 88-key keyboard if you’re sharing it with the whole family, because if someone should decide to become a serious piano player it’ll get you through a couple of years before they want a nicer one like yamaha or roland. But be careful when you are buying accessories like pedals; you have to buy a pedal specifically made for casio digital pianos or else it will not work. Make sure you buy a stand as well, nothing’s more awkward than a keyboard sitting on a coffee table.
